Combinations of performance and efficiency of any Sports car of was release from Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport.The Grand Sport has the wider wheels and fenders of the Z06, along with beefed-up brakes and a more-premium suspension. It also has a dry-sump engine (manual-transmission versions) to go along with a bunch of smaller changes.

Grand Sport, this low-rent interior was another sore point, especially big, unsupportive seats that looked as if they were full of bread. 1.06 g to hit very fast, open car dedicated to the roll-over chintzy and there is more daunting for inspiration. Car seats are a disgrace to this level, and their continued use, after years of criticism makes us wonder whether GM is close to keep alive the contract.

The Grand Sport is visually distinguished from the standard Corvette by the Z06’s wider (by 3.3 inches) bodywork, along with unique fender vents and wheels (18-inchers up front, 19s at the rear). The borrowed Z06 brakes are good for a stellar 150-foot stop from 70 to 0 mph in this car, and they offer solid pedal feel and good modulation.

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has got to me one of my favorite cars but they are very hard to get hold of and I can imagine the car insurance would be eye watering, not to mention the petrol consumption!

2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Convertible

The new Grand Sport combines the Corvette LS3-based powertrain with unique, wide-body styling and a racing-bred suspension for a unique model that provides a great balance of street and track performance. It is offered in both coupe and convertible body styles, with either a six-speed manual gearbox or six-speed automatic transmission. The LS3 6.2L engine with 430 hp (321 kW) and 424 lb.-ft. * Rated torque (575 Nm) * with the standard exhaust system. An optional two-mode exhaust system raises the nominal power to 436 horses (325 kW) and 428 lb.-ft. (580 Nm).

The Grand Sport Corvette Z51 replaces the previous package, and brings a higher level of handling performance, with wider wheels
and tires, revised shocks, stabilizer and spring specifications and special gear. The equipment allows cornering ability of 1.0 g LS3 and a 0.2-second improvement in 0-60 acceleration vs standard-powered models.

The full list of contents and special features for the Grand Sport includes:

* Wider front and rear fenders - including specific front fenders with integrated Grand Sport Achievement
* Z06-style front splitter and large rear spoiler
* Functional brake ducts and additional cooling
* Unique 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels, painted standard and optional chrome-plated
* Large 275/35ZR18 tires in front and 325/30ZR19 tires in the rear
* Z06-size brakes, including 14-inch (355 mm) front brake discs with six-piston calipers and 13.4-inch (340 mm) rear rotors with four-piston calipers
* Specific gearbox ratios
* Specific rear axle ratio for the automatic-equipped models

Chevrolet offered a limited edition Grand Sport Series model in 1996, to commemorate the original race car and marks the end of the era of Corvette C4 production. All the 1,000 copies were painted Admiral Blue and had a white stripe and red center "diamond" graphics on the left front fender, a graphics system which mimicked the look of some of the original race car.

2010 Chevrolet Cobalt

The Chevy Cobalt is surprisingly fun to drive for an inexpensive car, boasts solid fuel economy, and is available with one of the nicest stereo systems found in this price range. But its seats are simply uncomfortable to many reviewers, and its styling looks out of date.

But the Cobalt can't crack the top half of the huge small car class because it is small inside, with too little rear-seat space for adults. Hard seats in front and back are a common complaint. And its styling looks dated next to most other small cars.

2010 Chevrolet Traverse

The 2010 Chevrolet Traverse is a large crossover SUV available in LS, LT and LTZ trim levels. Standard equipment on the LS includes 17-inch steel wheels, eight-passenger seating, split-folding second- and third-row bench seats, a tilt-telescoping steering wheel, air-conditioning, full power accessories, OnStar and a six-speaker CD/MP3 player with an auxiliary audio jack and satellite radio.

2010 Chevrolet Traverse

There is only one engine/transmission combination available for the Chevrolet Traverse -- a 3.6-liter V6 mated to a six-speed automatic with manual shift control. In the LS and LT trims, which have a single exhaust system, the V6 produces 281 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. In the uplevel LTZ, output jumps up to 288 hp and 270 lb-ft thanks to a dual-outlet exhaust.
